Are you a wobble head?  You'd know if you were.  Dubstep is defined by it's bouncy drum syncopation and most importantly the rumbling wobbly bass that has transcended the UK underground to reach global acceptance over the last couple of years.  With British producers like Rusko and Caspa taking the genre beyond it's reggae influenced roots it was bound to catch on, but who would have thought a young producer hailing from Los Angeles would rise to the top battling for his right to the crown.  California's own 12th Planet has amassed an impressive collection of original productions and remixes over the last 3 years.  That, in combination with his SMOG events and constant touring, which both showcase his DJ skills and highly energetic stage presence, have separated him from the pack.  Hipster Overkill caught up with him in Los Angeles during a Scion House Party at the legendary Roxy, and also sat down with him during a tour stop in Washington DC where he spoke with our own MC Shawn Lucas for this exclusive video profile.
