New York is one of those rare cities where any night of the week can be a party night. Our favorite bunny, Roxy Cottontail, invited Philly DJ/Producer DJ Excel to rock the tables at her weekly Monday party at Soho's Sway Lounge (305 Spring St.) which also featured DJ's Iron Lyon and Schoolboy.  The venue, styled in Moroccan decor, has a very LA vibe.  This was balanced by the uniquely NY dressed hipsters and come-as-you-are party seekers ready to enjoy themselves regardless of what job awaited them the following Tuesday morning.  The relaxed tone of the club was countered by the broad mix of music that balanced underground and commercial as tracks moved from Wiz Khalifa to Gucci Mane to MGMT to Ludacris to Major Lazer at a lightning pace.  Where a tourist may get culture shock, the scene and sounds should be a welcome change for those looking to break the monotony of the typical club scene.
